TIM’s double triumph in the competitions of the Chamber of

On 24 September 2020, during the gala in Warsaw, were announced the results of two competitions organized by the Chamber of Electronic Economy: e-Commerce Polska awards and the e-Commerce Director of the Year. In the first one TIM was award in the “Best in e-commerce B2B” category and in the other – won a laurel for the “Best e-commerce B2B team”.

E-commerce Polska awards is the most important competition in the e-commerce industry in Poland in which the winners are the largest and most innovative companies selling online or providing services to entities conducting business activities of the kind. Both the nominees and the winners are selected by a group of jurors with many years of experience who are recognized authorities and respected professionals in the field of e-commerce.

In the new category “Best in e-commerce B2B” concerning the best implementation in digital B2B trade, TIM had to compete with Conrad.pl and Lynka.

– We have been taking part in the competition almost continuously since 2014, however, in recent years our participation ended up with being nominated. Thus our craving to win was therefore particularly strong this time – admits Piotr Nosal, Board Member and Commercial Director of TIM SA. – Although the award relates primarily to the implementation of the possibility of cooperation with TIM in the dropshipping model and/or due to integration with the TIM.pl e-shop via API, I also perceive it as a laurel for our over 7-year long presence in e-commerce B2B. During this time we have digitally educated thousands of customers, suppliers but also our industry competitors, de facto introducing distribution of electrotechnical products into the world of online trading. This year the Chamber of Electronic Economy has initiated the competition “e-Commerce Director of the Year”. It has been created for the people who have made the innovative projects, activities and implementations in e-commerce businesses a success. Besides individual categories there are also awards for e-commerce departments. And it was in the “Best e-commerce B2B team” category that the Department of Development and Technology of TIM SA led by Krzysztof Rogalny won beating OLX.pl
