TIM placed 2 in the Stock Exchange Company of the Year 2020 ranking
TIM has found its way to the podium of the main classification of the 22 edition of the Stock Exchange Company of the Year ranking organized by the editorial section of “Puls Biznesu”. It is the oldest and one of the most prestigious rankings on the Polish capital market.
Every year 100 stock market analysts, investment and management advisers representing brokerage houses and offices, pension and investment funds make a choice. Experts assess which company has the most competent management board, achieved the most spectacular success in the previous year, can boast the best quality of products and services within the stock exchange, has best relationships with investors and has the most interesting development prospects.
The main ranking, whose previous edition had not included TIM at all, is created based on evaluations in five categories. In the latest one, concerning the year 2021, TIM placed 2 leaving the following companies behind: Grupa Kęty, Dom Development, DataWalk and Ten Square Games. The firs in the ranking was Selvita.
– The second place in the main ranking is the reason to be pleased and the source of satisfaction for me. Although we turned from an offline company into an e-commerce one almost eight years ago, in the minds of a number of capital market participants it was only the pandemic that has changed the perception of our business. Therefore, no great loss… – comments Krzysztof Folta, the President of the Management Board of TIM SA. – However, I would like to remind you that these were not the events of 2020 that initiated our growth. The evidence to hybrid model of TIM’s operation, in which e-commerce supported by the knowledge and experience of the nationwide sales network employees generates 70% of turnover, have been visible in our results since 2018. Since 2016 the dynamic development of e-commerce is also used by our logistics company 3LP specializing in handling entities selling online. In the last quarter of 2020, more than half of its revenues from logistics services was generated from customers from outside the TIM Group, such as IKEA or Oponeo.pl – adds Krzysztof Folta.
