TIM and partners among the winners of e-Commerce Poland award 2022
Rich content – a unique way of presenting fischer products on the TIM.pl platform – has won the tenth anniversary edition of e-Commerce Poland awards in the category “Best adaptation to new digital reality B2B.”
The awarded project is the work of three companies: TIM SA electrical engineering distributor, which runs the TIM.pl e-commerce platform, the manufacturer (fischer Poland) and the technological partner responsible for the design and implementation (Custommerce). Rich content replaces the traditional product page, which usually consists of a photo of the product sold and an accompanying text description listing the most important parameters. Rich content provides the customer with complete product information in an attractive, interactive way, helping make the right purchasing decision.
The use of rich content for the presentation of fischer products on TIM.pl has been a pioneering implementation of such innovative communication of products in the construction business on a B2B e-commerce platform in Poland. More about this implementation in the case study.
“This year’s win confirms TIM’s position in B2B e-commerce in Poland, says Piotr Nasal, Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Commercial Officer of TIM SA. “Rich content is, on one hand, an answer to the changes in customers’ needs in the pandemic time, that is the new digital reality. On the other hand, it confirms the long-standing trend of our customers transferring expectations of solutions known from private life and their use of B2C e-commerce into B2B e-commerce,” adds Piotr Nosal.
e-Commerce Poland awards is the most important contest for the e-commerce industry organised by the Chamber of Digital Economy. The contest winners are the biggest and most innovative brands operating in Poland. Over the 10 years of the contest organised by the Chamber of Digital Commerce, TIM has been among the nominees for the award eight times. This year’s win means the fourth e-Commerce Poland award statuette for TIM. The previous wins took place in 2015 (in two categories) and in 2020.
