May 2021 at TIM SA: once again over PLN 100 million revenues from sales
Early estimates suggest that in May 2021 net revenues of TIM SA from the sales of goods and services directly related to the sale of goods amounted to almost PLN 101.5 million (+33.4% y/y). We have experienced third month in a row in which this indicator has exceeded the barrier of 100 million zlotys.
Online sales generated PLN 75.5 million in May 2021 (+45.4% y/y). After five months of 2021, TIM’s total revenues from sales already amount to PLN 464.6 million and are higher than those obtained in the corresponding period of 2020 by as much as 29.3%.
– This year, May was one business day shorter than April. However, thanks to the fact that in May we achieved historically highest sales per 1 business day – over PLN 5 million – the total revenues from sales this month were even higher than those obtained in April – says Krzysztof Folta, President of the Management Board of TIM SA.– A few days ago, the “Forbes” magazine ranked TIM seventh in the “Ranking of the Most Valuable Polish E-commerce Companies 2021” based on valuation of the company at the end of April 2021. We have also been mentioned as an example of one of the most successful digital transformations in Poland. The transformation is long behind us and the revenues from sales, ranging for the third month in a row at the level exceeding PLN 100 million, confirm the attractiveness and better adjustment of our offer to market needs. We are constantly developing, just as our customers who cooperate with us, for example, as part of alternative sales models. I am convinced all this will translate into constant increase in the value of our company and thus also into attractiveness for investors – adds Krzysztof Folta.
