Almost PLN 300 million – preliminary data on the turnover of TIM SA in the first half of 2017
The TIM SA’s revenues from sales in the period from January to June 2017 amounted to PLN 298.67 million, i.e. 4% more than in the corresponding period of 2016, as follows from preliminary estimates. The construction and assembly production in Poland in the first half of 2017 was 7.6% higher than in the preceding year.
The revenues of TIM SA from the e-commerce channel in the first half of 2017 are estimated at PLN 214.45 million, which means an increase by 4.5% compared to the first half of 2016. The estimated turnover of TIM SA in June 2017 alone amounted to PLN 52.55 million, including PLN 37.91 million in the e-commerce channel. In comparison with June 2016, that means a decrease by 7.3% and 1.5%, respectively.
It follows from the preliminary data published on July 19, 2017 by the Central Statistics Office that the construction and assembly production (in constant prices), including investment-related and repair works, completed in the country by construction companies hiring more than 9 workers, in June 2017 was 11.6% higher than in the preceding year (in relation to the 13.0% decrease in June last year) and 16.7% higher compared to May this year. Without the impact of seasonal factors, the construction and assembly production was about 12.9% higher than in June last year and 2.1% lower compared to May this year.
“The long weekend in June meant that in most companies – and B2B clients account for almost 100% of our clients – there were in fact only 20 working days, which had an impact on our turnover this month. However, the accumulated sales revenues for the entire first half of the year are higher than last year, which confirms that our business model works well and guarantees growth in the long term,” comments Krzysztof Folta, the President of the Management Board of TIM SA.
